Is Manny Pacquiao on Steroids? (Part 2)

mannypacquiao-300x297To continue with the discussion on whether or not Pacquiao is on steroids, we bring you more of the signs and side effects of steroid use. Again, we invite you draw your own conclusion.

Increased thickness and length of body hair. We are unsure whether it is his Filipino lineage that is to “blame”, but the guy simply does not have too much bodily hair for some reason.

Abnormally excessive development of the breast tissue. Kermit Cintron was quoted as saying that Pacquiao “looks ripped like Bruce Lee.” You can see it, you decide.

Almost cartoonish muscle growth. We go back to the Bruce Lee analogy – both Lee and Pacquiao are ripped and cut, but they retain that lean physique that Asians seem to have. No wrestler-type humongous muscles for these two.

manny pacquiaoThe unfortunate thing about the scandals that have rocked the worlds of baseball and wrestling and other sports is that there is now a tendency for people to think that anyone who can do anything amazing and worthwhile must be on something. In the case of Pacquaio, he has indeed come a long way from being the 16-year-old boxer from the Southern Philippines into a shining start in the international boxing scene. That is certainly quite an accomplishment, and it does seem like something that may be a little difficult for some of his competitors to swallow.

We have definitely not heard the last about this issue; we are, after all, a good three months away from what will most certainly be another much-awaited fight: Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather, Jr. An Olympic-style drug testing has already been requested for, and we can’t wait to see what will come out of those tests – and what accusers will have to say about it.

Is Manny Pacquiao on Steroids?

manny-pacquiaoThere has been uproar over steroid-use accusations hurled against boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao – and we figure it’s not exactly the kind of reaction that his accusers are hoping for. It seems like Pacquiao’s accusers are getting into a line of sorts; we have heard from Floyd Mayweather Sr. and welterweight title holder Kermit Cintron. Joining their ranks is boxer Paulie Malignaggi, who, despite his win over Juan Diaz in an anticipated rematch at the UIC Pavilion in Chicago, has been talking about how he thinks Pacquiao must be on steroids.

manny-pacquiaoWe found an interesting article regarding the possibility of steroid use by Pacquiao, for those who are now as interested in the issue as we are. Steve Lewis shares symptoms and side effects that may be seen on those who are either on steroids or performance-enhancing drugs, and we will in turn share some of them with you. He has his own opinion on whether Manny Pacquiao fits the bill – and we invite you to draw your own conclusions as well.

Unusually greasy hair or oily skin. Check out Manny Pacquiao videos – both in the ring and outside of it – and compare his hair and skin against those of other boxers to see if he has these conditions.

Hair loss and receding hairline. At least from where we are looking, we have yet to see a bald spot on the No. 1 pound-for-pound boxer. (Just a side note: Pacquiao is actually an official endorser of a shampoo in his home country Philippines.)

Acne breakouts in the shoulder and back area. This guy is usually shirtless. If you have HD, you will be able to see what is obviously not there.

Increased aggression or irritability and disrespectful or abusive behavior. We have watched a lot of boxing, but we do not think we have ever seen Pacquiao without a smile on his face, at least when he is not doing his thing in the ring.

Mr.Olympia 2009 results.

jay-olympia-2009Jay did it and won the Mr.Olympia 2009 title. He took the “Sandow” back and now he must be very proud of himself. He did a great job. Look at these pics and I am sure that you will agree that he is the best. Look at Victor’s tiny legs, it seems like he never squats or is doing squats with with light weight. Now take a look at Jay’s legs… you see the difference.

Anyway all these guys did a great job and deserve our applause!

Preparation for Olympia is in heat.

mrolympia09fLess than 2 weeks to one of the greatest competition among bodybuilders – Mr.Olympia. I guess there is no competitive bodybuilder who would not like to participate at Mr.Olympia and I will not say to win :) This was the competition which inspired Arnold Schwarzenegger, Franco Colombo,  Lee Haney, Lou Ferigno and inspires many today.

Nowadays bodybuilding standards are higher comparing to those years and now bodybuilders are bigger and stronger.

For 2009 Mr.Olympia are qualified next athletes:

Abiad, Fouad Canada
Alves, Troy USA
Anthony, Melvin USA
Centopani, Evan USA
Charles, Darrem Trinidad
Cutler, Jay USA
Elmoussawi, Moe New Zealand
Freeman, Toney USA
Greene, Kai USA
Haidar, Ahmad Lebanon
Heath, Phil USA
Jackson, Dexter USA
James, Dennis Germany
Kefalianos, Michael Australia
Kjellstrom, Martin Sweden
Martinez, Victor Dominican Republic
Pakulski, Ben Canada
Rockel, Ronny Germany
Ruhl, Markus Germany
Samuel, Silvio Spain
Stubbs, Joel Bahamas
Warren, Branch USA
Wilmore, Bill USA
Wolf, Dennis Germany
Yamagishi, Hidetada Japan

From these I would mention, Cutler Jay,Greene, Kai,Heath, Phil,Jackson, Dexter,James, Dennis,Martinez, Victor,Wolf, Dennis as those who have chances to win. All of them improved their physique during many years which made them better and better.

This year these guys trained hard, kept diet and did a lot of cardio just to prepare for the show and win it. This is what each of them wants.

jay-back trainingJay Cutler must be very motivated to win as he was the champ here on 2006 and 2007, then came Dexter and took the Sandow, now Jay wants “Sandow” statue back. He must be trained very hard. We’ll see him on the stage.

However I do not think that Dexter Jackson is less motivated after he felt what is it to be Mr.Olympia. And yes he wants to be there again and take one more Sandow statue home. He must more defined and more concentrated on the training. Who knows may be he wants to beat Ronnie’s record?

martinezcrossoverAfter the tragedy Victor Martinez had this year with his sister we did not believe he will participate, but Victor is the man and he found enough strength to train, keep diet and do cardio in order to be in best shape. Good luck Vic!

Phil Heath must be busy these days due to many photo shoots and he is the one who last years improved a lot and made his physique better.

After winning on Arnold Classic Kai Greene became more popular and Mr.Olympia is a good way to prove this again.

DennisJamesDennis James is very happy that George is helping him with preparation for Mr.Olympia as Dennis says: “It seems that George knows my body better than I know myself.”

Dennis Wolf did a good job of improving himself for this contest and MusclesProd.Com team is sure he will havesomething new for his fans this year.

We at MusclesProd.Com wish them good luck and let bodybuilding move ahead as the best victory is winning yourself by being better each year.

See you at Olympia.

Update from Jay Cutler’s blog.

jay-cutler-300x200I want to thank all the fans for there support and motivational words during this contest prep. I have a solid team in place with Kerry (my wife) and my training partners. They have helped tremendously and I feel I am in the best shape I can be in just over 3 weeks out. I already have my routine down and have some great music this year. Training couldn’t be better. I am in a good groove with my cardio and am eating a ton of fish every day. Now wonder I never eat fish (other than sushi) in the off-season. Looking forward to the “O” and seeing all the fans at the most exciting weekend in bodybuilding!

Train Hard,
Jay

Jennifer Gates will not compete this year on Olympia.

jennifer-gatesAfter her winning last year on Figure Olympia we waited to see the “batlle” this year. However this year we will not see Jennifer Gates competing because she had to withdraw from the competition after discovering she is pregnant.

Below is official press release:

Reigning Figure Olympia champion Jenn Gates has had to withdraw from the competition after discovering she is pregnant with her third child. Jenn was already well into her contest preparation when she discovered the magnificent news. We look forward to Jenn’s return to the competitive stage in the future, including another run at winning the Figure Olympia title, and wish her and her family the best during this blessed time.

We at MusclesProd wish you all the best and let your child be healthy and bring you a lot of joy!

Ronnie Coleman confirmed his comeback for Mr.Olympia 2010!

ronnie-coleman-comebackAs heard first on today’s episode of MuscleSport Radio, Ronnie Coleman will make his comeback at the 2010 Mr. Olympia. Ronnie Coleman who is 8 times Mr.Olympia winner said that he decided to compete just a few days ago.

Many will ask why he is not competing this year. Well this is simply explained by the fact that Ronnie has many contracts with BSN and his travel commitments will not allow him to prepare for 2009 Mr.Olympia.

Ronnie had a back injury which prevented him to compete in 2008 and lead to 4th place on 2007 Olympia. However Ronnie says this this time off was and is a huge plus in his career and this rest time will only help him to recover and look better.

Ronnie Coleman is the second one who won Mr.Olympia 8 times. The first was Lee Haney but now Ronnie wants to beat his record and he is serious about this.

We wish him good luck and we will see “The King” on the stage next year in Las Vegas.
